I feel your pain and frustration about needing to overwrite a bunch of code especially under constant time and managerial pressure so let me ask you this. Why do designers constantly refuse to learn HTML and CSS? Is it just sheer incompetence or is there anything else in this? You say that you are doing their job but what do you think what should be their job and what should be yours?
