I don't understand what you mean. If my js is bigger then my css is smaller (zero in fact). And my html as well. My entire library can be cached by the browser and since I don't force the browser to invalidate a ton of styles my rendering can actually be faster. And I can support more browsers than css layers for example. What is your point exactly?
